I’ve seen that a lot of people who talk about Fionna’s body usually comment how she is ‘a little thick’, ‘chubby-cute’ and things like that. Why must people always comment on it? Can’t people just take her body as it is and not have to constantly define it as the universal image of it? And if they do, people then have their own thought (prejudicial or not) on what thin is. I mean, it’s like its all they see just because it is the shape that people refer as as ‘chubby’. It’s kinda like looking a Caucasian person playing the guitar and saying “Wow, that’s a great guitar player” and looking at an African-American guitar player and saying, “Wow, that’s a great BLACK guitar player”. (Which I’ve seen slip from people’s mouths or comments from time to time) And that may be because people would be used to be seeing a white guitar player, then feel a need to comment on their race. That puts a huge gap between what has happened and people’s expectations. When something is another possible positive option that’s not in the constant norm, people feel a need to pick at it. And whether if its positive of negative feedback, it is annoying to me. People sometimes just need to accept a person or a thing how they are no matter how the other way(s) usually are. Also if people are naturally prejudiced, I think that they need to get over that too.
